Above Taipei sits Maokong, a tea plantation district that is accessible via a gondola from next to the Taipei Zoo. Once at the top you can wander around the plantations and enjoy the lush greenery while looking across the sprawling city. You can also get an excellent tea-flavoured soft serve ice cream!
